The Ridgeway Surgery is aware of the announcement by the Department for Health and Social Care that anyone aged 50-64 has now been added to the eligible cohorts for this year's flu vaccine. We are now working to order additional vaccine supply and plan for more flu clinics in December. We ask that patients refrain from ringing the practice with inquiries on this and we will communicate the new arrangements for flu clinics in the near future.
UPDATE TO OUR PRESCRIPTION COLLECTION TIME
Patients needing to collect routine regular medications from dispensary will be able to collect during the following times:
12pm – 5pm on Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri
12pm-2pm on Tuesdays
Any patient struggling to collect during these times can speak to our Dispensary team to arrange an alternative time that suits them. Please allow at least three days to process your prescription request.
To prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVD-19), we are moving all requests for appointments to a telephone triage system. Please ring us between 08:20 -10:00 am if you need medical advice for acute conditions. After the doctors call, patients who need to be seen in person will be given a face to face appointment at the surgery.
Alongside telephone, video, face to face appointment we now have online consultations.
